so this is a boredom post folks, this is where I like to talk about random stuff that I find extremely random and probably half the time doesn’t really make sense, but then again what does make sense?

So randomicity #1) To kick things off I’m going to talk briefly about twitter, so I follow some friends and people on twitter.com, nothing new about that, people do that all the time. Also it will suggest some people that you may want to follow, but the thing is some of the people it’s asking me to follow I already have on my following list, so what the heck? Am I following them or not.

Random #2) Ok so there I am crusing the internet on my parents computer while performing a spyware/virus scan, and while I am cruising the internet I get this update notice for firefox to use  3.6.8 and ironically the version of firefox is 3.6.8 at least according to the about box in firefox, so again what the heck?

and random #3) here is something random, I don’t know what else to say today, don’t you worry folks I’ll find something to say eventually, or my name isn’t Zach Thibeau, developer/programmer, musician. 

Anyways I’ll have something better to include in my posts and hopefully something with more meat to it. Until next time.

howdy all, just to let you all know this wordpress install  is now integrated with the forum. You can now sign into the blog with your forum id and vice versa.

howdy folks, lately I`ve been trying to keep busy so I`ve been working on old projects and starting new projects. One idea I had and am working on is emuskillet.com a fully powered by phpBB emulation news site. It will not offer downloads but it will offer the latest news about the latest emulators. Also PChat is coming along nicely found a patch related to xchat and gtk spell that looks like could work, previously gtkspell was fairly hard to work with especially with the fact you could not submit your message to a channel but the spell checking worked, so hopefully this patch will allow windows users to have spell checking in xchat.

Howdy folks, awhile ago I was working on a small project based off of Notepad2 called AthenaPad which is meant to be cross platformable but still provide the features Notepad2 had for the most part, almost got the features complete, will be working on syntax highlighting soon.

Anyways below is a screenshot of what I have done so far and how it will look like.

fun fun has arrived, it’s the time of year where people are getting together and spending time with each other. This saturday will be a special day for my younger sister and my best friend from college. They are getting married, at first I really didn’t know what to say, I never thought my best friend would be getting married so soon and to my sister, time passed on, I’ve come to accept the truth, all I can say to him is welcome to the family.

In other news I’ve been setting up some links etc in the sidebar for my twitter account I have and my rarely used facebook account, eventually I’ll setup my identi.ca account link up there so you guys can stalk… I mean follow me there too. PChat 1.2 is coming too, the built in gtk tray icon seems to be finally fixed in the windows build and I’m drawing plans on a 2.0 series that will be hopefully a complete rewrite in c++ using the wxwidgets toolkit, I plan to try and keep the gui looking like it is now and keep the plugin compatibility and maybe at the same time add new features too it too IE: Possible gui theming.

Anyways I’ll try and post again later about some more updates when I get the chance so to borrow a phrase from a TV Show called Red Green “Remember keep your stick out of the ice”

anyways I want to thank José Pedro Arvela for revamping one of my oldest styles I created a year or so ago, it’s looking better than original…

anyways I hope to do some more work with the theme ptmb has created for PChat-irc.com that I’ve brought over to this blog, I’m going to be modifying it as much as possible to make it still look decent but look different from the original work mind you I have permission from ptmb to do this modification, so with his help and some of my own work I’ll be making it personal.

I’ll be working on making a portfolio page too that will display information and links to all current projects I’m affiliated with and some of my own personal projects as well.

howdy guys, I know I keep changing software on you guys but with the release of wordpress 3.0 and this new cool forum plugin, I had to switch to it, please give it a try and I’ll keep y’all from suffering from my changes anymore. The only changes I’ll make however will most likely changes to wordpress versions and functionality of the blog.
